Dosage:
From 6 months to 1 year: 1 sachet of Forlax 4g per day
From 1 to 4 years: 1 or 2 sachets per day of Forlax child
From 4 to 8 years: 2 to 4 sachets per day
This treatment against constipation generally takes 24 to 48 hours to act. It will not exceed 3 months.
The sachets of Forlax are put in a glass of water before being given to the child, preferably in the morning if taken once or morning and evening if taken multiple times.
Contraindications:
Do not give this medicine against constipation if your child is allergic to any of its constituents or if he/she suffers from a pathology of the colon or intestine: Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, perforation of the intestine, ileus, unresolved abdominal pain or if he/she is intolerant to fructose.
Taking Forlax 4g may cause diarrhoea and therefore a risk of electrolyte loss. Seek medical advice before using this medicine if your child suffers from liver or kidney failure, if he/she is taking diuretics.
